Accommodation For The Olympics 2012

Preparations for the Olympic Games 2012 are happening now in London. It’s time now that spectators start to think about Accommodation for the Olympic Games 2012. Without a doubt camping is going to be very popular alternative to expensive hotels or ‘hard to find’ bed and breakfast accommodation. Campsites are starting to take bookings now for people choosing to stay in motorhomes on established campsites or sites that have been specially commissioned for the Olympic Games.

If you decide to opt for motorhome hire for your accommodation you have a distinct advantage over those with more ‘static’ accommodation. The motorhome is not tied to a specific area, so if you are have tickets for multiple events at different locations you can book the campsites in advance and just drive to your next venue.

The Caravanning and Camping Club have announced that two temporary sites will be available in Gravesham in partnership with Gravesham Borough Council, both are going to be very close to Ebbsfleet International Station, which is just 10 minutes from Stratford in London and the Olympic Stadium. Pitches will be available for a minimum of three nights and will be open to members and non members.

Other camp sites nearby to the Olympic venue are reporting increasing interest, in particular ‘The Elms Caravan and Camping’ are advertising the fact that they are only a short walk from Loughton Underground Station which is only 7 stops or 18 minutes to the Olympic Park itself.

If you are planning on hiring a motorhome as a solution for your accommodation for the Olympic Games 2012, do book early as this is going to be a major event and everything will sell out quickly. If you are coming to the UK please feel free to contact us as we can arrange transportation to meet your flight at the airport and take you straight to your motorhome.
