However there are a few things you can get familiar with right now, so lets have a quick look at some points that you may be worried about.

Driving a large motorhome: Well, depending on the number of people in your party you may not need a large motorhome at all. If you are a couple, then you could hire a Trigano Tribute which is no bigger than an estate car and just as easy to drive.  Having said that most people find something a little larger such as the Mooveo P6 3 Berth a more suitable vehicle for their first time motorhome hire.  In this case there is slightly more width and height than you are used too. The actual length usually isn’t that significant as the distance between the front and back wheels isn’t much more than a car, meaning you still have a very good turning circle.  Driving a motorhome is different to driving a car, so just take it easy and use the large mirrors more than you would with a car.

Parking a motorhome: Parking is always an issue, regardless of what type of vehicle you are in. Large supermarket car parks normally work best, but do watch out in case there is a height barrier. If you have bikes on a motorhome bike rack with you, this is never a problem as you can just park where you like and then cycle into town or down to the beach.
